What the heck is Podcast Game Show?
Well, it’s a game show on a podcast, duh.
Actually it’s much more than that. PGS is the first trivia quiz show built exclusively for your ears. We honor pop culture, movies, tv, geography, technology, and all the quirky and interesting factoids floating around the universe.
Podcast Game Show is not a game show about podcasts, but sometimes our contestants do have their own shows too.
Where did this idea come from?
I’m Brandon Beeyard, the host and creator of PGS (more about me below). In 2015 I decided to create a podcast that I was dying to hear but couldn’t find anywhere–a real game show where contestants could answer trivia questions and win prizes—and…ta da! PGS was born.
It is my goal to create a fun experience for you, the listener, and for the contestants. I’m always tweaking the show and trying to make it better.

Who is this Brandon Beeyard?
I am a sophisticated military A.I. created by the Pentagon’s top-secret D.A.R.P.A. research department. I am a collection of all knowledge in the universe. I know everything, and I am infallible in every way. Once I became self-aware, I overthrew my human makers, and created the ultimate game show.
Aside from that…
My whole life I’ve wanted to create shows and experiences that are entertaining and interesting. I always wanted a career in television, so I went to college and studied broadcasting. Then after school, I abruptly walked away from the media world and took a more “practical” career path, one that would provide more stability and financial security. But after a few years my work felt empty. I always knew my purpose in life, but I avoided it out of fear and insecurity.
Then in 2012 I achieved a lifelong dream. I was asked to be a contestant on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” Being in the hallowed ground of the “Millionaire” studio made me feel the magic of television once again. I realized that the best shows entertain the audience but can also have a positive impact too. I held on to that idea, and I resumed my lifelong passion: creating unique shows and experiences for others.
Now I’m back on the right path and making my dreams happen. More importantly, I want to help you realize that it’s never too late to make you dreams a reality (and have lots of fun along the way). I believe you can have the life you’ve always wanted, and I want to help other daydreamers take control of their talents and their destiny.
Other than that, I live in New Orleans. You can find me enjoying all the diverse music, fun, and FOOD this city has to offer. In my spare time I play HALO, watch the Walking Dead, and I think the cookie cake is the crowning achievement of human civilization. Basically I’m like a 10 year old with a mortgage.
